August 2016 – January 2017- Snatch for Sony Crackle!

I have just finished 1st Sound Assisting a nice long exciting TV Drama in Manchester for the lovely David Hall AMPS for the Sony Crackle Channel. I have been shot at more times than I can remember and done more massive steady-cam scenes than you can shake a boom at, but it was great fun and we had an amazing crew and some lovely cast.

The dulcet tones of Snatch brought to you by the Schoeps Super CMIT!

here is the preview!

Sunny D – BBC Comedy

Hello! I have just finished Sunny D for BBC comedy in Manchester, a mad 4 half hour in 3 week schedule for BBC 3 but loads of fun and a great cast. 1st Assistant sound for Jonny Seale with Ben Hosta as my 2nd Assistant, we had a hard job as the sets were lit hard for the scenes for speed but we got the booms in on crazy back breaking angles and got it all sounding sweet.

“The Limehouse Golem”

LimeGolem_Crop

In October 2015, my old friend and sound mixer Stevie Haywood AMPS invited me to be his 1st Assistant Sound on the Gothic Murder film “The Limehouse Golem” shooting all over the North of England with a gruelling schedule we turned the streets and buildings of old England into the streets of London in the 1850’s. It was a fantastic shoot with an amazing cast, some really beautiful performances that I was very proud to be a part of bringing them to the big screen.

In cinemas 2016!

“Jericho” and “Dark Angel” Dailies – September 2015

In September 2016 I was kindly invited into “Jericho” with Grant Bridgeman and Sarah Howe for the day as an additional boom operator on the ITV period drama series shooting in Yorkshire, what a lovely team they are! It also gave me the chance to work with Clarke Peters, a fantastic actor and a true gent, as a big fan of the wire this made my day!

Also David Lascelles invited me in to work with him for three days as Additional boom operator on “Dark Angel” filming in York, a period drama set in the north east of a Victorian serial killer staring the wonderful Joanne Froggatt. Great to work with Dave again and see some old friends and make some new ones.
